Meeting Baby Kamdyn

Kristen went into labor on a Wednesday, September 30th.  I had planned to go home that weekend, but Kamdyn came a little early.  It was so hard not being there, but I got to facetime her in the hospital!

I went home that weekend, but KK and Bret were still at the hospital with Kamdyn.  Kamdyn had low blood sugar, so they had changed her formula and were monitoring it for a couple of days.  We spent some time with them in the hospital, and then they got to go home Saturday night.

I have facetimed my sweet baby niece every day since.  She loves it! ;)

This weekend I decided to go home for a night since we have Monday off.  I went home Saturday afternoon and stayed until Sunday after lunch.  I got to hold baby Kamdyn a lot!  She is so squishy and cute!  Love, love, love her!!

Seriously?!  How can you not love these rolls?!
Kudos to my sister for taking this pic and so many other cute ones!  I can't wait to see all of them from their newborn session!

August/September

Baylor Football season started!

Erin and I went to the Garth Brooks concert.  It was SO good!  We had floor seats, and he sang all of the old stuff!  Love me some 90s country!

I went home for a weekend, and I mentioned how one of our math classes was going to estimate and count how many rubber bands it takes to explode/cut a pumpkin in half.  Of course my brother-in-law and nephews wanted to try!

It took about 80 rubber bands!

We also made some pumpkin crafts!

My precious Tyler Bear was baptized, and his daddy got to baptize him!  It was so sweet, and I am so proud of him!

I love that this many people attended Tyler's baptism!  I love how my family is always there for each other.  We may have made quite the scene sitting in the front church pew with all of these little ones, but that's okay! :)

We went to lunch after church.

This little stinker is at such a fun age!  You never know what she is going to come up with!

Guest Bath Before/After

Once school started, it was hard to find time to do things with the house.  I also didn't want to hang anything until I had bought a few more things and knew where I wanted it.  I finally got around to hanging the shelves in the guest bathroom tonight.  I am happy to have one room "finished", and I love how it turned out!

We kept the bathtub for this bathroom and just replaced the towel bar and tiles that were messed up. I had the floor redone, the cabinets painted, and the countertops replaced with quartz.  The floor is tile, but it is made to look like wood  The picture makes it look more brown, but it is actually a weathered gray.
